Currently, a lot is happening in the field of data spaces in Switzerland. However, these efforts are often scattered and unrelated. Therefore, the Swiss Data Space Forum 2025 aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Overview of the current situation of data spaces in Switzerland

  • Swiss best practices for the development of data spaces

  • Private sector perspectives

  • Cooperation between the confederation, cantons, and cities in establishing necessary standards for data spaces

  • Mutual understanding of which questions need to be addressed

  • Roadmap for next steps including political support for relevant initiatives
